I still think my August post about this should have made the national news, after I showed that Yelp was charging businesses to remove competitor ads, but showing ads anyway.!
How many millions of dollars did they steal from how many businesses? Sadly, we’ll probably never know.
Here’s a video showing what they have been doing, presumably for years…
Regardless, this morning I noticed that although the word “Sponsored” still exists, they have no ads showing. None at all, when someone is paying to remove the reviews.
