Public Speaking

Search engine marketing is appealing to many groups as a subject for meetings. Nearly every business has an interest in expanding their web presence, and I’ve frequently found myself speaking to groups of individuals who are not technically savvy.

I’ve done several search marketing presentations for small local groups since 2005, including the East Portland Chamber of Commerce and the Oregon Computer Consultants Association.

Beginning in January of 2012, I will be conducting my own events in Portland via a Meetup.com group that should be both informative and entertaining.

Annual:

  • Webmaster World – Pubcon Las Vegas – (since November 2006)
  • Searchfest, Portland Oregon- (since March 2007)

Monthly

Miscellaneous

  • East Portland Chamber of Commerce
  • Local Business Associations
  • Industry Trade  Associations

With my extensive background, I’m able to speak to webmasters, programmers and developers on a more technical level, as well as to marketing professionals. Yet as a layperson myself, I can also put things in perspective for even the most non-technical crowd.

I can cover sessions from 15 to 90 minutes, and do not charge for local appearances here in Portland assuming I’m available.

If you are interested in a presentation for your group, please contact me using the form below, and look below the form for most my recent appearances…
